Cintas ranked among “Best Places to Work in Indiana”
CINCINNATI, March 3, 2008 -
Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS) has been ranked among
the best places to work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber
of Commerce. The program honors the top companies in the
state, as determined through employer reports and
comprehensive employee surveys.
“‘Best Places to Work in Indiana’ not only recognizes our state’s
outstanding employers, but also sets a high standard
for other Hoosier companies by encouraging them to realize
the importance of evaluating their own workplace,” said
Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar. “It is clear
that a positive work environment makes employees more
engaged in their job and in their company,” he added.
Cintas was among 66 honorees in the 2008 Best Places to Work competition, now in its
third year. All companies that participated received an
in-depth evaluation based on employees’ input. That,
in turn, can be used in developing or enhancing employee
retention and recruitment.
“We are honored to have received this distinction,” said Jason Hill, Director of
Operations for the region. “I think it clearly illustrates
the culture of respect that defines Cintas, our great work
environment and our employee-partners’ high level of
satisfaction,” he added.
